Being an entrepreneur isn’t easy, and being a female entrepreneur can be even harder. According to the Rose Review, only one-in-three entrepreneurs are female, and up to £250 billion could be added to the UK economy if women started and scaled businesses at the same rate as men.

This award looks to recognise an inspiring female entrepreneur who has broken the mould and led their business to new heights. The winner will have clear evidence of growth, leadership and entrepreneurial success within their business, and be able to evidence how they have achieved.
